In 2025 – 2026, Mass Union will focus on the following policy priorities.

- Secure $350,000 in funding for Technical Assistance (TA) for tenants facing redevelopment with private partners
- Protect immigrants living in public housing
- Fight against harmful regulatory proposals
- Participate in the Access to Counsel coalition and push for the coalition’s goals
- With partners, advocate for a 15% increase in the Massachusetts Public Housing Operating Subsidy
- With partners, make a plan to address the $8 billion backlog of capital needs in public housing
- With partners, advocate for more Resident Services Coordinators (RSCs) in public housing
- Protect tenant privacy in rent calculations by clarifying the way bank statements are used
- Educate ourselves about the best ways to create safe public housing communities
