LHA Board Members Conflict De-Escalation Training from the Mel King Institute

This training gives participants practical tools to manage and de-escalate conflict while staying professional, empathetic, and grounded in trust. Using real examples, reflective discussion, and scenarios tailored to their roles, participants will strengthen their ability to listen actively, set clear boundaries, and communicate respectfully under pressure. The session uses trauma informed and plain language practices that support confidence and psychological safety.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
