The Mass Union of Public Housing Tenants Policy Board and Staff would like to announce its 2018 Spring Convention will take place on April 27-29, 2018.  This event will be hosted at the Four Point Hotel, 1125 Providence Turnpike, Norwood MA with the Convention Theme: A New Beginning!

Mass Union’s affiliates and friends were able to change the way public housing is managed and build new partnerships in cities and towns. New state regulations encourage partnerships between residents, management and private sector organizations. DHCD encourage Local Tenant Organizations (LTO) to participate in all policy planning as directed in the new “Tenant Participation Regulations.”
The Bullying Commission has published its final report. There will be a summary of the report and a discussion on next steps. We have invited federal and state officials to speak to the changes in public housing management.  A roundtable discussion with venders on accessing services for public housing seniors and disabled residents. Experts will be speaking on the future of Medicare and Medicaid.
